Mr. Richard was seating under a tree enjoying his drink
as
one could see Mrs. Doris walking to him with an envelope.
“My king” She called still walking to him.
“What is it?” Mr. Richard asked calmly dropping his
glass
of drink on a table beside him.
“This was sent to you” Mrs. Doris handed the envelop
to
him and took her seat expecting him to disclose what
was inside.
Mr. Richard shouted immediately he saw Austin and
shantel’s
wedding pictures. Mrs. Doris who was
confused on why he shouted stood up from his seat,
adjusting
closer to her husband like someone who was afraid.
“Jesus christ” Mrs. Doris exclaimed while mr. Richard
stood up angrily.
“That bastard. That idiot, he has wedded shantel. He has
wedded
shantel” Mr. and Mrs. Richard cried. Mrs. Doris
found
a letter inside the envelope and started reading it.
“They are not even in the country. What are we going
to
do?” Mrs. Doris asked still crying. Mr. Richard kept
breathing
heavily not knowing what to do. An idea bumped into
his
brain. He took out his phone calling the D.P.O.
“I’m
I speaking with the D.P.O? yes, I want Austin’s parents
to
be release. Yes, all of them and I want all charges against
them
dropped. Yes, thank you” Mr. Richard dropped the call.
“Why are you doing this?” Mrs. Doris asked surprisedly.
“My dear. shantel and Austin are now married. It must be
destiny.
we we, we cannot stop them now. I think we should arrange to meet with
his
family next week; so that we can set a date for the
traditional
wedding” Mr. Richard went and hug his wife as tears
kept dropping down from their eyes.
