AT NIGHT. STILL AT MR. RICHARD’S HOUSE.

“shantel,your mother has spoked to me and I have
agreed
to let you and Austin have your way” Mr. Richard said
surprising
shantel. She stare from her dad to her mum.
“Hmm, you are pulling my legs right?” shantel asked.
“No shantel.
Rev. pastor luck called me and was able to convince me
that
it was the will of God for both of you to marry. I came
back
home and spoke with your father, and he agreed” Mrs. Doris said. shantel
stood
up excitedly as tears of joy dropped down from her eyes.
“Oh my
God, I’m so happy. Thanks mummy” She went and hug
her
mum and Mrs. Doris smiled.
“Thank you so much daddy” Shantel went and hug her
dad
with a smile on her face.
“Oh my God I don’t know what to say” shantel smiled
taking her seat.
“Bring him here tomorrow” Mr. Richard requested.
“I will” shantel replied.
“We will like to have a chat” Mr. Richard said.
“I will dad” shantel
replied with a smile. Mr. Richard stood up going to his
bedroom.

“Goodnight daddy. You are the best daddy in the
whole
world” Shantel said with a smile.
“same
goes to you my princess” Mr. Richard replied and stun
out.
“Thank you mummy” Shantel thanked her relaxing herself
on her mum’s shoulders.

Austin was very Happy to receive the news. He kept
staring at shantel smiling.
“Won’t you go and dress up let’s go and meet my
dad?” Shantel asked laughing.
“Oh that’s true” Austin replied with a smile and ran into
his
bedroom to put on something.

At Mr. Richard’s house.
Austin stood up from the cushion he was seating down when
he
saw Mr. Richard and his family walked down to the sitting room.
“Who
are we having here” Mr. Richard echoed.
“Good day sir” Austin greeted.
“How are you?” Mr. Richard asked.
“I’m fine sir” Replied Austin.
“How is your parents” Mrs. Doris asked.
“Everybody is fine ma” Austin replied.
“Good. Austin,
you have to stay and wait for us, we invited you here so that we
can
discuss your wedding plan with shantel. you have to wait here,
in
shantel’s room until we get back. and if we did not com back
by
2pm then you will come back tomorrow” Mr. Richard said.
“I
rather come back tomorrow” Austin replied.
“Relax
my dear. you are now part of this family aren’t you?” Mrs. Doris
asked.
“Alright darling. you can watch some movies in my room or
just
relax” Shantel said. Austin went and hold her by her waist.
“Promise
me you will be back early” he said and shantel smile.
“Take care darling”
“I love you”
“I love you too” shantel replied and they all went out except
Austin
who was still seen at the seating room.
“Wow” smiles
of joy could be seen on Austin’s face as he kept bouncing and
jubilating
in the sitting room.

“Why have you decided to humiliate me?” Mr. Richard shouted
at shantel.
“Dad. I don’t understand what you’re talking about” Replied shantel,
confused.
“How will you understand! how will you understand? after
everything
we did to give you a bright future. you reap everything by
falling
in love with a thief” Mrs. Doris said.
“Mum
Austin is not a thief” Shantel defended.
“Oh he is.
He stole my 50thousand dollars. he broke into my matrimonial
room
and made away with my money. He’s a thief” Mr. Richard said.
“It can’t be true.
let me call him” shantel tried calling him but mr. Richard stopped
her.
“That will not be necessary. No thief will ever admit that his a
thief,
unless caught red handed. oh, anyway I have called the police
to
arrest him and I swear this time. he will die in jail” mr. Richard
said
and walked out of shantel’s room along side with his wife.

went and sat on her bed thinking of what her father said and how to
help
Austin out. she stood up from her bed walking to and fro still
thinking.
“Never. Austin will not die” she put on her foot wears and left her
room angrily.
