Emeliano’s POV

I regret this! I shouldn’t have even considered this!

Here I am, trying really hard to focus on the screen Infront of me and I swear, I’ve read this line for like ten times now, ten Fûçkiñg times! I sent a glare to Rebecca’s direction, all she did was smile innocently at me before she continued humming, hitting her feet on the ground, and making this annoying noise with her fingers!

I’ve tried to ignore her, tried to block out the annoying sounds she was making, but it was impossible because the more I tried to ignore her, the more the noise increase.

“Would you please stop!” I gritted out.

She looked at me with innocent eyes. “But what did I do?”

“You know what you’re doing! Just stop it, I’m trying really hard to concentrate here.”

“Okay, whatever you say.” She smiled sweetly! I’m beginning to hate that smile.

She stood up immediately, walking around my office, I couldn’t help but follow her every movement, she moved to my shelf and traced the books with her index finger, as she gave me a sly look. “Why are you staring at me?” She asked.

I rolled my eyes and Tried to focus on my work but I was soon distracted when I heard the clash of so many books, I looked up to see Rebecca staring at the mess she made, almost all the books on the shelf were scattered on the floor.

“Oops,” she said as she bent down to pick them.

I stood up and moved to the shelf, I gave a sigh of frustration before I bent down to pick up the books with her. “Why did you do this?”

“It was a Mistake, why would I purposely make this mess?” She asked, barely picking up the books, I raised my head a little and caught her staring at me, but she immediately bent her head and started to pick up the books.

“I know what you’re doing.” I said, standing back up and arranging the books in my hands. Soon after, she did the same.

“What do you mean?” She asked me.

“You’re trying to frustrate me, aren’t you? That’s why you insisted on coming with me… Do you really think I’d get tired of you and maybe, release you?”

“No… I don’t think so… Seeing as you have other reasons to hold me hostage.” My eyes widened at what she said.

She turned to walk away but I pulled her back to me with force, earning a gasp from her. “What do you mean by that?”

She looked scared for a minute before she regained her composure. “Let go of me.”

“Not until you tell me what you meant by what you said!”

“What makes you think I’ll tell you if you keep hurting my arm!” She yelled back at me.

Reluctantly, I let go of her arm. “Talk.”

She rubbed her arm. “I overheard you and Piper, talking about this- Her. I know it has something to do with me.”

“Didn’t your mother ever teach you not to eavesdrop on people’s conversations?”

“I couldn’t help it! I got more interested when I heard my name… What’s really going on here, Emeliano? I have the right to know.”

I walked back to my table, determined to ignore her, I couldn’t tell her, no. She doesn’t need to know anything.

“Emeliano, I won’t let you ignore me! Don’t keep me in the dark, who were you both talking about?”

I gritted my teeth together as I turned to face her.

“It’s none of your business! Drop it.” I warned her.

“No.” She said, and that only made me more angry, she knew how much I hated being said no to… And still, she’s determined to annoy me.

“Let it go, forget you ever heard anything.” I told her.

“And I said no. I demand to know the truth, and don’t think you can threaten me to take off my clothes this time- I don’t care, you can’t threaten me with anything anymore, cause it won’t affect me. You’ve done your worse.”

I tilted my head to a corner, “Have I now?” A small smirk made its way to my face, as a plan formed in my mind. I watched the determination drain from her face as she noticed the smirk I was giving her.

“Let’s see about that, shall we?”

Rebecca’s POV ✅

Emeliano made slow steps towards me, like a lion preparing to attack it’s prey.

Okay, maybe I shouldn’t have said no to him, but how was I supposed to find out the truth? Well, I know one thing for sure, whatever Emeliano’s thinking right now? It can’t be good.

Come to think of it? He said something to me the last time I said no him.

Something about him making me touch Myself Infront of him. God no.

“W-what are y-you doing?” I stuttered. My heart was hammering like hell as I took few steps back, only to land on the book shelf.

“What does it look like?” He asked, there was this edge to his voice that made goosebumps rise on my skin.

Finally, he reached me, closing the distance between our bodies, his fingers moved to graze my cheeks and down my jaw, my eyes were pinned to his the entire time.

“Are you about to have an heart attack? Cause, the rate at which your chest is moving…” He trailed off, bringing his head down to the crook of my neck, his harsh breath sent shivers down my spine, making me feel something I haven’t felt before… Something that I liked?

“Does this affect you?” He whispered to my neck, as he trailed soft kisses on my nape, sending my skin and heart into overdrive.

“No.” I managed to let out.

“Really?” He asked, nibbling my ear lobe, making this weird sensation run down my stomach. I gritted my teeth together, trying to stop the sound that was about to erupt from my mouth.

“Not a chance.” I murmured, trying to calm my breathing.

I felt one of his arm encircle itself around my waist, pulling me closer to him, a small gasp escaped from my lips as his striking dark eyes met mine. “You’re so stubborn, you know that?”

“And you’re a-” well, I was unable to complete my sentence because his lips came down on mine, making me feel warm all over.

Any girl in my position would be fighting him off now, but I- I wasn’t, instead of hating this kiss… I was- enjoying it?

His lips moved on mine like it was made just for me, the way my body reacted was a whole new feeling.

I never felt like this anytime Mason kissed me, Mason’s kisses convinced me that there was no such thing as butterflies in the stomach or anything, but Emeliano’s kiss, it was different- my stomach was on freaking fire, not just my stomach, my body! and knees were like jelly!

Why didn’t I ever feel like this when Mason kissed me?

Mason!

I pushed Emeliano off of me immediately, he look stunned at my reaction, but later on, he had a smirk plastered to his very delicious lips. “Lemme guess? Mason?”

My eyes widened as I tried to catch my breath, I was actually finding it difficult to balance myself. “Why did you kiss me?” I asked him.

He paused for a moment, it was like he was looking for the perfect reply. “Did it affect you?”

“No, not one bit.” Liar.

“You’re a really bad liar, don’t do that in public.” He tucked his hands into his pockets as he moved to his table again.

“What? Lie?”

“Yeah- you’re really bad at it.”

I tucked my hair behind my ears. “Why did you kiss me?” I asked again.

“I don’t know, I guess I wanted to know how much I affect you, s£xually. But don’t worry, I got my answer.” He smirked, sitting back on his chair.

I took a step forward when I was sure my legs wouldn’t bail on me. “W-what was your conclusion?”

“A lot… I affect you- a lot.” He said, looking back at his laptop.

Well, he was right… He affected me alot, and I think I should be worried about that. I shouldn’t be attracted to this man, but- look at him! Who wouldn’t be affected by a walking s£x appeal god!

And look at me! A Hot s£x craved youth.

Well, it didn’t use to matter before, but years and years of reading and watching romantic movies and books and also wishing for your boyfriend to, touch you-s£xually.

Well, you never asked Mason to touch you like that.

I sighed. “You’re wrong.”

“And you’re lying again.” He said, without looking up.

Well, that kiss was Almighty.

I liked it, I really did. I shouldn’t like it- it’s wrong, because I have a boyfriend that is worried sick about me.

“Do you know how much of a jerk you are?”

“No… But you can enlighten me.”

I crossed my arms to my chest. “I deserve to know why you’re keeping me hostage… I know it’s more than just you trying to show the society what happens to people who disrespect you.”

“Trust me, that’s the only reason.” He said again, not even looking up.

“I heard you talking about me to your secretary- Don’t think I’ve forgotten about that.”

“I wasn’t talking about you, Rebecca.” He said.

“So why did you mention my name!”

He looked up at me now. “I hate to break it to you, but there are thousands of people bearing Rebecca, on earth- not everything is about you.” He looked back at his laptop now.

“Who was that her you were talking about? It sounded like she was some kinda ex or something?”

He shot me a glare. “None of your business! And she’s not an ex!”

“So then, why did you kiss me like that? I’d hate to think that you have-”

“Do you have memory loss or something?” He asked me. “I was just trying to-”

“To see how much you affect me s£xually?”

“Yeah… That.” He looked away.

“Why don’t I believe you?”

“I don’t know, you can think whatever you want to think. That kiss didn’t mean anything to me, in fact, it was the worse experience of my entire life… Trust me, it won’t happen again.”

I bit my lower lips trying to stop the stingy feeling in my eyes.

I walked back to the couch silently and sat there till the end of the day.

His words weren’t supposed to affect me this much, but it did, and the feeling was awful… I dared to look up at him, only to find his eyes already on me, making my heart go ballistic.

Immediately, he looked away, like a kid that had been caught stealing chocolate from a chocolate bar.
