Episode 24 (Finale )
“What?” They asked simultaneously, not wanting to believe what the doctor had just said.
“No….my daughter is not having her child through Operation. I didn’t give to her
through CS, none of her family members have so she won’t be the first” Mama protested as Mark was lost in thoughts
“Can I please see her at least” Mark pleaded as the doctor accepted
“Baby….what is the problem?” Kemi asked weakly as soon as she saw her husband
“They said you have to deliver via operation my love.” Mark replied, holding her hands tightly
“Operation? No. That was not wheat God promised me” Kemi protested
“Baby baby. This is a matter of life and death.” Mark told her but she still didn’t agree
“It is in the Bible: Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of children and I’ve been claiming these promises for the past six months so how come. No it’s not possible, I’m not giving birth via operation” Kemi said as Mark was speechless
“My love, I’ll be fine, just go and pray. I’ll pray here too” She said and managed to smile as Mark nodded and left her
Kemi looked up and closed her eyes peacefully
“Lord, you honour your word more than your name. Carry these pains and empower me to bring forth these children. Make this easy for me” she said as she was praying
After five minutes of prayer, it started again and this time, she had the strength to pull through
She was able to push her baby out in five minutes which surprised the doctor
“Wait. They are two.” The nurse said as Kemi smiled broadly
“Madam. You have to push so we could have the second one as well” The nurse told her as she nodded and give it all she had
She was able to have that too on her own, without any operation
“This is wonderful. Congratulations Madam” The nurse said to Kemi as she smiled in response, too tired to talk.
The doctor went out of the labour room to share the good news to her relatives
As soon as Mark saw him, he came to him immediately
“Doctor, how is she? Did she make it? Was she able to pull through” Mark asked
“Calm down mister. I come with good news.” The doctor said as her husband and mother waited patiently for the next word he would say
“Congratulations Mr Mark, you’re now the father of two bouncing babies” The Doctor said in smiles
“Two” Mark and Mama said simultaneously
“Yes. A set of twins. A boy and a girl” The doctor confirmed
Mark was so full of joy and relieved because he was really afraid for his wife as he thought her stubbornness wasn’t necessary since it was a matter of life and death
“Can I see her now?” Mark asked impatiently to which the doctor agreed and in no time, he was already at the ward
“Babe” he called as she smiled weakly on seeing her husband
“I gave birth to them without any operation” she said as Mark kissed her forehead
“Thank you for making me a father. I never regret the day I married you” Mark said as she stretched forth her hand to touch his cheeks. Mark’s face was full of smiles; he was now a father of twins and his lovely wife is the mother of his children.
“Rest now.” He said as be noticed she was sleepy.
She smiled in response and slept off
Kemi is seen br**st feeding her babies as Mark came home. He has been coming home earlier than usual to check on his wife and be there when she needs someone.
He’s now the head of special advisers in his office so there’s no problem even if he works for just three hours.
“Is there anything you want me to help you with?” Mark asked as Kemi smiled
“No thanks. How was work today?”
“It was fine. The DG visited our office again today”
“Really, what did he say?”
“That he wants me at the head quarters again; and this time stay a little longer like a month or two.”
“Hmmm…..and what did you tell him
“That I’m a young father. I have a wife and kids to take care of but he said that wouldn’t be a problem. That I could just come along with my family and he’d be in charge of the expenses”
“Hmmmm
“Yeah but I told him I’d think about it, you know I can’t make decisions without you and God” he said, playing with one of the children’s hands.
“But what about the business I’m running here, and the one I’m about to set up” She asked
“Someone would be in charge of that. You’ve opened a shop already and have someone there, let her be in charge. It’s just two months. When we come back, we’d focus more on our lives and our house” he said reassuringly
“Hmm…okay but can Mama come with us?”
“Yes she can.” He responded
“Who would take care if her own expenses?”
“I will.”
One year later
The naming ceremony and dedication has been done. Everything has been settled.
Mother-in-law is happy to carry her son’s kids.
Kemi had advanced in her business. She has gone ahead to open a restaurant but put someone there. She has also bought a small land solely for farming, she called it Aigbogun Farms of which she’s managing currently
Moreover, they had also packed into their house few months ago.
All these were made possible because they too God serious, they studied their master and prayerfully discovered their potential: the potentials that had turned their life around for good. Mark is now a man that goes abroad and comes back anyhow; he has been asked to move to there but he bluntly refused because he knows his angel of blessings is not located there at all: he knew that through constant prayers and fellowship with God.

Kemi’s POV
Hmmmmm……I don’t know what to say but God is really good to me. I thank God
for my life and I also thank Him for using my enemies to make me know and serve him better because if not for that, I’m sure we’d still be living below expections and God will be greatly disappointed because he has given us everything we need to make it in this life. I thank God for using my mom to bless me richly. I thank Him for also enabling me discover my talents; who would have known that my own children lied in the hands of me discovering my talents. I thank God for that little Rejoice; her faith really taught me alot that I named my baby girl Faith and my little boy victor cos her faith was strong and conquered all odds and mine too made
me come out a victor as I put it to practice. And most especially, I thank God for my husband……the kind of man God gave to me for a husband, I’m very grateful
Women are the backbone of the home. It is true that the man is the head but the woman is the neck, without which the head is rendered useless.
I have nothing else to say but to say thank you Jesus. I hope you’ve learnt alot from the story of my life.

Mark’s POV
I won’t say much but I just want to say Thank You Jesus for the kind of woman God gave me for a wife. She’s been supportive, prayerful and respectful
She’s been a mom, sister, gist partner, best friend and wife to me. I just want to bless His holy name for everything
With the help of my wife and God, I’ve been able to discover my talents and it’s been so wonderful as I’ve moved from grass to grace.
All men should be patient with their wives and not maltreat them as they have alot to offer, especially when she’s a true Christain
Imagine if I had used her past to mocked her and looked for a child outside Marriage, what would become of me?
I’m sure my destiny would be affected and I may never discover my talents and put it to good use. I would’ve been in confusion and lost the trust of my wife and everything we could’ve achieved together but I really thank God I resisted temptation when it came and handled difficult situations maturely when it surfaced
All I have to say is Thank You Lord
